For the Anxious Dogs
Service Description
This session introduces your dog to the environment and equipment that is used in a grooming session. Owners are invited to join our dog Groomer in one of our play areas to familiarise your dog with equipment such as blow dryer, scissors and brushes. Once your dogs is comfortable our Groomer will invite your Dog into the grooming room for a sniff and introduce them to the bath and grooming table. If your dog is showing signs of comfort you can choose to proceed to a grooming service (additional fees will apply). Our Groomer will equally assess the suitability of progressing to the next stage of grooming based on observations of your Dogs interactions. If your Dog is highly stressed and anxious we may discuss placing your Dog on a schedule to build them up to feeling safe and having a successful positive grooming experience. This session is recommended for dogs who are anxious, have had negative grooming experiences and you are looking to re-introduce them to grooming.
